Robert Green

Robert Lee Green, 70, of Shady Point died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, in Poteau. He was born Oct. 29, 1931, in Williams. He served in the Army in the Korean War, was a heavy equipment operator and attended Shady Point Baptist Church. He was the widower of Thelma Green.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Belinda Little of Hartford and Carol McDonald of Wright City, Okla.; a son, David Green of Panama; four stepchildren, Roy Wilks of Paris, Geneva Haynes of Magazine, Doyle Wilks of Magazine and Bryan Wilks of Booneville; a sister, Helen Williams of Heavener; a brother, Chesley Green of North Edwards, Calif.; and 22 grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
