Sharon G. Sanders, 50, of Rose, passed away Aug. 17, 2009, at St John Medical Center in Tulsa. She was born in Santa Maria, Cali., to Ray and Velma (Baxter) Sutton. She attended school in Bokoshe and Spiro, graduating from Spiro High School in 1977.

She married JR Sanders on June 22, 1982 in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was member of Faith Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Bobby Sutton and Dean Sutton; a sister, Sandy Sutton. She is survived by her mother of Spiro; her husband of the home; three sons, Aaron Sanders and wife Kim of Midland, Ark., Justin Sanders and wife Skyla and Joshua Sanders, all of Rose; two daughters, Kathrine Fowler and husband Charlie of Barling, Ark. and Ariel Sanders of the home; nine brothers, Harold Sutton of Tulsa, Jerry Don Sutton of Coweta, George Sutton and wife Janie of Coweta, Randy Sutton of Spiro, Carroll Sutton of Tulsa, James Sutton of Tulsa, Darrell Sutton of Tulsa, Robin Sutton of Tulsa and Michael Sutton of Spiro; six grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Faith Chapel Church in Tahlequah with Rev. Bobby Long and Brother Brian Drywater officiating. Interment was in Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe.

Pallbearers were Justin Sanders, Marion Bolding, Joshua Sanders, Doyle Tinnin, Tommy Speake and Kenny Adams. Services were under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
