Ethel Viola Ames died in Alderson Convalescent Hospital of Woodland Monday, May 27, 2002, at age 81.
Born Nov. 11, 1920, in Red Oak, Okla., Mrs. Ames was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Nancy Lunsford. She had been a Yolo County resident for 43 years. She worked for the mobile home manufacturing facility in Woodland for several years.
Mrs. Ames is survived by her children, Peggy Keeton and husband Jim of Woodland, Nancy brown and husband Harvey of Knights Landing and Tommy Martin of Woodland; grandchildren, Lisa and Jimmy Keeton, Tina, Terri and Danny Garcia, Tony, Corene and Tommy Martin; and great-grandchildren, Kristi, Keri, Alec, Anthony, Cory, Jordan and Janett.
Other survivors include, Virdie Frankenhoff, Alek Lunsford and Grace Limbaugh, all of Hemet and Jim Lunsford of Woodland.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Woodland Cemetery.
