It is with great sadness that the family of Alice McDuffey announces her death on April 3, 2004. She was 71 years old. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., in the Arvin Cemetery.
Alice was born in Gowen, Oklahoma, on March 13, 1933 and has resided in Lamont for most of her life. She was a member of the Lamont Women's Club and the Eagles Camper Club. She loved to play cards and dominos and she loved to travel with her family. She collected music boxes and minature clocks.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Carl McDuffey; daughters, Patty Tyning and her husband, Bob and Vicki Perry and her husband, Duke; sons, Mike Baker and his wife, Melinda, Larry McDuffey and his wife, Millie, Steve McDuffey and Cary McDuffey; grandchildren, Deanna, Leah, Shylo, Derek, Jared, Joey, Liz, Jennifer, Rachel, Rebecca, Julie, Jackie, Joel, Rachel, Mike, Steven and Kevin; 11 great grandchildren and by her beloved dog, Max.
Alice had many friends that made her life so special. Her family will miss her and she will always hold a special place in their hearts.
There will be on public viewing scheduled and all of the funeral services have been entrusted through West Side Family Mortuary, Taft (661) 763-1594.
