Joy Ann Sadler was born on May 14, 1931 in Tulsa, OK. She died on November 25, 2013 in Lawton, OK. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Mt View Cemetery with Raymond G. Kaping, officiating.
Joy was raised and attended school in Woodward, OK. She married Clarence Sadler on December 24, 1952 in Woodward and the couple soon moved to Lawton where they raised their family. Joy spent over 30 years teaching pre-school at both public and private schools here in Lawton, and had a positive effect on the lives of thousands of young children during that time. Joy also had a great influence on the raising of her grandchildren and great-grand children with great love and could always be counted on to help with any of life's challenges her family encountered. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence, and her only daughter, Nancy Lee Kaping.
Survivors include 2 sons, John Sadler of Duncan and Joe Sadler of Lawton; one son-in-law, Raymond Kaping, of Duncan; 7 grandchildren, Charlotte Webb and her husband Tim of Duncan, Nikki Beachler and husband Russell of Moore, John Ross Sadler and wife Loni of Moore, Savannah Brown and husband Rico of Lawton, Trelle Dandridge and husband Ryan of Galveston, TX, Trisha Vernon-Cole of Lawton, and Jason Russell of Oklahoma City; 6 great grandchildren, Halena and Tyce Beachler of Moore, Alicia and Addison Webb of Duncan, and John Taylor and Jessie Sadler of Moore.
