Mary Frances Goodin Services: Tues., Dec. 22, 2:30 p.m.

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., Thursday, December 22nd at 2:30 p.m. for Mary Frances Goodin, 77, of Bakersfield. Mary was a devout Christian who passed away December 18, 2005 in a Bakersfield hospital. Pastor Brian Murphy will officiate.

Mrs. Goodin was born September 25, 1928 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma and had been a resident of Bakersfield for 68 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Glen Thomas Goodin, two brothers, Homer Jack Simpson and Fredrick Pete Simpson and a sister, Chloe Simpson.

Survivors include her sons, Glen Dennis Goodin and Michael Dean Goodin, both of Bakersfield; brother, Jerry Simpson and wife, Rosemary of Salinas; sister-in-law, Betty Simpson of Lake Port; special niece, Wanda Tesky of Palm Springs; 4 grandchildren, Denise, Kimberly, Derek and Danielle; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Mortuary.
