MULESHOE - Julian E. Lenau, 91, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 1996.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Reydon Stanford of the Christian Center in Muleshoe
officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park.
Mr. Lenau was born in Hobart, Okla., and had lived in Muleshoe most of his life. He graduated from Kansas State University in 1926 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He later graduated from Baylor
University at Waco with a pharmacy degree.
He married Lois Koen in 1929 at Olton. She died in 1985.
He was the owner and operator of Western Drug in Muleshoe from 1929 to 1944 and then was the owner and operator of the Muleshoe Alfalfa Mill. He also worked for his brother at Lenau Lumber Co. for several years before retiring in 1983.
Survivors include two sons, Charles W. Lenau of Columbia, Mo., and Don J. Lenau of Muleshoe; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family requests memorials be to a favorite charity.
