Lovingly known as Granny Dee, was born to A.P. and Bell (Hatcher) Martin on March 31, 1917 in Province, OK and passed away quietly in her home in Cyril on January 10, 2012.

She was married to Floyd Patterson on April 6, 1933 in Gotebo, OK. Floyd and DeLois, long-time, well-respected residents of Snyder, OK owned a welding shop and farm north of Snyder. The couple moved to Cyril in 1990. Granny Dee, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, was well-known in Cyril for her long walks, bright smile, and pink cookies. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, writing poetry and reading. She read through the Bible over 50 times. DeLois was an active member of the Cyril Full Gospel Church and the Cyril Historical Society.

She is survived by:

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 12th at 2:00 P.M. at the New Life Church, formerly the Full Gospel Church, in Cyril with Pastor Bill Patterson officiating and assisted by Pastor Donnie Miller.

Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder, OK under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home., OK and passed away quietly in her home in Cyril on January 10, 2012.
