Jonny "Jon" Cochran Jr

Jon Cochran Jr. went to his heavenly home on June 10, 2022.
 

Jonny was born in Kingfisher to Jon and Dorene Cochran of Loyal on Oct. 16, 1963.
 

He attended Lomega Schools and graduated in 1981.
 

He worked for Sooner Co-op in Loyal until an accident ended his career. He was a member of the Loyal Volunteer Fire Department, serving as chief for several years.
 

He was proud of the advances the fire department made during his time as He was a member of Loyal United Methodist Church.
 

Jon was an avid cook and loved to farm. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting.

Jon loved his family.
 

He was married to Kandy Harrell in 1996. With this marriage he became a proud father to Stephanie and Nicole.
 

Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents Kermit Sr. and Dora Glazier and Ralph and Grace Cochran.
 

He is survived by his parents, Jon and Dorene Cochran of Loyal; his ex-wife Kandy Cochran of Kingfisher; daughter Stephanie and Scott Farrell of Kingfisher and grandkids Madison of Enid, Mia and Christian of Kingfisher; daughter Nicole and Eric Eaton of Caldwell, Kan., and grandkids Sam, Keelen, Zack and Channing; many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
 

Memorials can be made to Loyal United Methodist Church memorial fund.

Graveside service was 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Venable Cemetery with a memorial service following at Loyal United Methodist Church. Services were under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
