Funeral Services Held Saturday 
For W. A. Gallup , Pioneer  Resident 

Funeral rites for W. A. Gallup, who passed away December 24,th at age of 83, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Church., Rev. Wallace Linton officiated at the service and many of his old friends and neighbors attended to bid final adieu to one who was a friend to all. 

He was laid to rest in the adjacent Oak Grove cemetery, where he joined many other old neighbors and friends who had preceded him to the great beyond.

Friends will long remember his genial smile and cordial greeting and he had many of them. Union community will miss him.  The funeral arrangements were in charge of Cordry & Son, Hennessey morticians.
