April 21, 1927-Kingfisher Times--The following is, as nearly complete and authentic as obtainable under present circumstances, a lit of eighty-niners who are still living in Kingfisher county. It was prepared by old timers in various parts of the county and is published with a view of paying homage to the staunch pioneers who have "made" this section of Oklahoma. Doubtless a few errors-and a few omissions-occurs in the list, but these are virtually unpreventable due to the absence of a county wide eighty-niner organization for the keeping of records. The Times will be glad to correct any mistakes or make any additions to the list if advised of same. This policy will be continued in the years to come-as long as a single survivor of the great "race" shall remain in our midst.
