Column 3, Oklahoma Historical Society
Micropublication #9180-117, Roll 76
Submitted by: June C. Stone

DIED at her home 2 miles east of downs, on Saturday, November 10, 1894. Eva Lutisha Boatright, of typhoid fever. Eva Lutisha Boatright was born in Gentry County, Missouri on September 22, 1879 and at the time of her death was 15 years, 1 month and 18 days old. She was named after her mother, Lutisha who died in May 1888. Eva was the baby when her mother died, being only 8 months old and she had just passed her 15th birthday when her father died. At the present writing, there are 2 more members of the same family very low with typhoid fever but we hope they will recover. The funeral was on the last Sunday and was attended by a large concourse of sympathetic friends.
The Democrat extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
