Hennessey – the funeral for Charles C. Elledge, 82, who died Wednesday at Kingfisher Regional Hospital, will be at 10:30 AM Saturday at Church of the Nazarene in Hennessey. The Reverends Dean Ferguson and Vida Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Lyon Valley Cemetery under the direction of Cordry and Son Funeral Home.

He was born November 4, 1906, near Franklin, Texas, and at an early age moved with his parents to Holly, Texas. He received his education at Easterly, Texas. He was a millwright in Texas, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma, retiring in 1972.

On April 16, 1965, he married Jewell Henry in Muskogee. They lived in Hennessey.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Martha) Johnson and Roxie Hill, both of Dickinson, Texas; two sisters, Pauline Tullous and Lois Hanna, both of Franklin; four grandchildren; and three great – grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
