Samuel Barker, who came to Oklahoma a few months ago from Kansas  and has been living on the John Wren farm several miles east of Hennessey, died Thursday, January 5, of pneumonia and was buried Friday in the Lyon  Valley Cemetery. 

Deceased was about 70 years of age. 

He was an uncle of  Mrs. John Crosswhite , who resides in the Lone Star neighborhood.
