Kitty Ruth Smith, age 85 of Lexington, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013. Kitty was born March 22, 1928 in Kingfisher, OK, the only child of John Edward Anglemyer and Theresa Viola Anglemyer. She spent her early childhood in the Kingfisher and Yukon. She married a young man from Oklahoma City named Robert Nance on October 3, 1944 in Goldendale, Washington. To this union, a daughter, Louise was born. Kitty then moved to Southern California where she worked for many years doing secretarial work in the banking industry, before retiring from Flintco Manufacturing. Kitty was a socialite! Whether it was playing table games or dancing, she loved just being around others. Kitty cherished her family and looked forward to family get togethers. She loved the Lord and loved her Church. When she wasn’t working, Kitty spent countless hours working and serving in food lines ministering to the homeless. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her parents, John and Theresa Anglemyer.

Kitty leaves behind: Her daughter, Louise Nance Rowland and husband Carroll of Lexington; 3 grandchildren, Stacie Snow and husband Jim Kenney of Ventura, CA, Terrie Kerr and husband David of Stillwater and Ryan Snow and wife Debbie of southern Pottawatomie County; 3 great grandchildren, Jared Kerr, Cole Huff and Jonas Huff, and A host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
