The funeral for Dona Jean Roberts, 88, Dover, was at 10 a.m. Mon., June 13, 2016 at Dover Christian Church officiated by Rev. Fred Jones.

Burial followed at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Dona was born at Loyal on April 17, 1928 to Frank Curry and Edith Glazier Ogle and died Wed., June 8, 2016 at Cimarron Nursing Home in Kingfisher. She married Irvin Roberts in Loyal on April 14, 1948. Dona was a member of Dover Christian Church, Kingfisher Eastern Star Chapter 42 and AREME Eastern Star Chapter 168 in Cashion.

She is survived by her husband Irvin of the home; three daughters Faye O’Bryant and husband James of Cashion, Cathie Chambers of Licking, Mo., Patricia Stinnett and husband Jeremy of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren Jennifer McVicker and husband Paul, Charles Terrell and wife Dana, Derek Grape and January Goins, Melanie Elliott and husband Utah, Marianne Russell and husband Arlan, Melissa Brake and husband Vernon, Joe Rushing and wife Heather and 14 great-grandchildren

Dona was preceded in death by one daughter Dr. Virginia Webb; four sisters and three brothers. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Dover Christian Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
