Roberta G. (Sue) McKinniss was born October 21, 1942, in Belmon, Iowa to Homer and Gladys (Trooien) Wicks, and departed this life January 9, 2006 at her home in Morrow, Arkansas at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 18 days.
She is survived by her husband Mick McKinniss of the home in Morrow; one son: Harold Hanus of Denver, Colorado; three daughters: Candy Hanus of Goldfield, Iowa, Debra Hanus of Lincoln, and Cindy Lawrence of Wesley, Arkansas; four step-daughters: Kelly Johnson of Jamestown, Ohio, Collen Curry of Sabina, Ohio, Lisa Canup of Elm Springs, Arkansas and Karen Kimbel of Minden, Louisiana; 23 grandchildren and step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; one brother: Robert Wicks of Warrenton, Virginia; four sisters: Camila Kosar of Marshall town, Iowa, Betty Lou Brenneman of Kalona, Iowa, Shiela Young of Eagle Grove, Iowa, and Sharon Flaws of Webster City, Iowa; one sister-in-law: Arlene Wick of Belmond, Iowa; and one brother-in-law: Joe Johnson of North Branch, Minnesota. A host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
Memorial services were held Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morrow United Methodist Church in Morrow, Arkansas. She will be laid to rest in the Kingfisher Cemetery in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.
