Service for Tommy Leon (Tom L.) Feagins, 80, of Kingfisher, was held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at First United Methodist Church, Kingfisher. Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher. Military burial in Kingfisher Cemetery by American Legion.

Tom was born April 29, 1932, in Seminole, Okla., to Raymond Waylon and Laura Feagins and died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at his home.
After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy in 1950 during the Korean War. He served the Navy for four years and was deployed out of San Diego as a Fire Control Technician on the USS Wedderburn (DD-684), a Navy Fletcher-class destroyer.

After serving for four years in the Navy, he attended Oklahoma A & M (OSU) on the GI-Bill. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and led the fraternity intramural tennis team.
He married Joyce Kay (Hill) May 26, 1958. She died April 11, 2005.
He later married Laura Melguizo April 5, 2010.
Preceded by two brothers, three sisters and one stepson.
Surviving are wife, Laura; sister, Cindy Hull; sons, Tom Feagins and Ken Feagins; two grandchildren; four stepsons and their families.
