Marie Catherine (Kauper) Endres

KINGFISHER - Wake and Rosary for Marie Catherine Endres, 79, will be 7 p.m. today at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. The Revs. Price Oswalt, Rick Stansberry, Edward Weisenburger and James Ross will serve as celebrants. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Sanders Funeral Service.

She was born Aug. 23, 1924, in Kingfisher to Joseph and Bertha Buettner Kauper and died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City.

She and George Endres were married Nov. 23, 1943, in Kingfisher. She was employed at Sears for several years and at Tony's Electric where she retired. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church for 79 years and was a member of Altar Society.

Surviving are six sons, Joe of Kingfisher, Donnie of Okarche, Jerry of Burleson, Texas, Tim of Kingfisher, Tommy of Okla-homa City and Wayne of Kingfisher; six daughters, Patricia Boyle of McAlester, Georgia Kale of Enterprise, Ala., Sharon Leatherwood of Kingfisher, Angie Thompson of Denison, Texas, Joyce Schut-kesting of Kingfisher and Kathy Mueggenborg of Okarche; two sisters, Theresa Litzke and Bernice Cross; 42 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one daughter, one granddaughter and one brother.
