ENID — Funeral for Lester Black Bear, 55, was held Tuesday at Indian Baptist Church, Kingfisher. Burial was in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.

Lester was born May 28, 1956, in Kingfisher to James and Daisy Turtle Black Bear Sr. and died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, in Watonga.

Surviving are six brothers, Jacob "Nick" Black Bear of Henegar, Ala., Floyd Black Bear of Watonga, James Black Bear of Geary, Luther Black Bear of Nashville, Tenn., Burton Black Bear of Seattle, Wash., and Charles Black Bear of Seiling, and one sister, Mary Lou Powell of Oklahoma City
