Enid, OK - The funeral for Robert LeRoy Biby, 62, of Kingfisher, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at First Christian Church, Kingfisher. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.
He was born September 30, 1946, in Kingfisher to Charles Franklin and Sarah Mae Biby and died Friday, October 10, 2008, at Kingfisher Regional Hospital.
He helped his father operate the family service station during his younger years. He enlisted in the Army, serving in Germany from 1967 to 1968, Vietnam from 1968 until his discharge in 1972 as staff sergeant. He worked at Owens Supply following his discharge and worked for Farrar Construction from 1976 until his death.
Surviving are three sons, Robert of Lawton, Shawn of Leavenworth, Kan., and Shane of Columbia, Mo.; three daughters, Amber McGilbery of Stillwater, Dana Chaney of Spiro, and Tonja of Germany; two sisters, Dorothy Gangl of Kingfisher and Linda Barr of Clarence, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth of Santa Cruz, Calif., and John of Kingfisher; his companion, Betty Tisdale; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
