KINGFISHER — Funeral for Jim Bengs will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Kingfisher. Burial in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements by Sanders Funeral Service Inc., Kingfisher.

Jim was born to Otto and Addie Bengs on June 21, 1941.

In 1952, he married Margaret Bernsten.

He worked 25 years for Kingfisher Fire Department and was chief for 16 years.

Surviving are wife, Margaret; daughters, La Vonda Davis of Dennison and Laynette Harrison of Kingfisher; four grandchildren, Landon Harrison of Edmond, Macy Harrison of Kingfisher, Michael Davis of Dennison, Michelle Kleinsorge of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded by his parents and one brother
