Yukon – The funeral for Sharon K. Barnett, 51, will be 1:45 PM Tuesday in Sanders Funeral Service Chapel, Kingfisher. The Rev. Darryl Owen will officiate.

Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery.

She was born August 3, 1950, in Sallisaw to Earl and Doris Hall McKeever and died Saturday, January 12, 2002, at Yukon Memorial Hospital in Yukon.

She graduated from Kingfisher high school in 1967. She attended business college and cosmetology school. She married James Barnett on February 6, 1976, at Oklahoma City. They lived in Bethany and later in Yukon. She was a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Surviving are her husband, James Sr. of the home; one son, James Jr. of Yukon; two sisters, Stephanie Wingo of Moore and Taylor Barnett of Yukon; and two grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Arthritis Division.
