Kingfisher – the funeral for Chris Amos, 19, who died Sunday in a traffic accident near Kingfisher, will be at 2 PM Wednesday at the first Baptist Church in Kingfisher. Kim Brooks and Jessie Hill will officiate.

Burial will be in the Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

He was born July 6, 1972, in Woodward to H. Charles and Barbara Amos and had moved to Kingfisher when in the seventh grade of school. He graduated from Kingfisher high school in May, and was employed with his father at Charlie's Auto Sales. He was planning to attend El Reno Junior College in the fall. He was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, Charles and Patsy Amos of Kingfisher; his mother, Barbara Amos of Fargo; three brothers, Brad Amos of Fargo, Orin Amos of Kingfisher and James McElfresh of U. S. Marine Corps at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; two sisters, Tammy McElfresh of Kingfisher and Regina Amos of San Antonio, Texas; and grandparents, Mae Reynolds of Woodward and Lucille Amos of Grove.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
