Kingfisher – Services for Reba Downing Ament, 86, will be held at 2 PM Monday at the Sanders Funeral Chapel with Mr. Darrel Rickard officiating. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

Mrs. Ament died Friday in Yukon.

She was born May 16, 1897. She married Jack Ament October 29, 1948, in Denton County, Texas.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Garden Club and J. A. O.

She worked as a saleslady at Newman's Department Store in Enid for 20 years. She retired and returned to Kingfisher, where she lived until May, 1983, when she moved to Yukon.

She is survived by two grandchildren, three great – grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mayne Church, Memphis, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son and a brother.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church elevator fund.
