Memorial service for Jami Thai Whittenburg, 57 will be at 10:30 AM Saturday October 14, 2023 at First Christian Church officiated by Jimmy Berkenbile.

Interment of cremains will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Jami was born on January 12, 1966, in Enid to Claude and Gay Trout Whittenburg and died Tuesday October 3, 2023, at her home in Hennessey.
 

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
 

Jami is survived by one daughter McKenzie Tucker and husband Michael, one son Austin Whittenburg and wife Hannah; her father Claude Whittenburg and wife Helen, one brother Keith Whittenburg, all of Hennessey; one sister Julie Streck of Edmond; one step-daughter Melissa Perrine; seven grandchildren, Hunter Hubbard, Hayden Hubbard, Beau Whittenburg, Maverick Whittenburg, Henry Whittenburg, Chance Tucker, Chase Tucker, and two nephews Wesley Streck and Colton Streck.
 

Jami was preceded in death by her mother Gay, and one grandson Logan Whittenburg.
 

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Shriners Childrens Hospital with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
