Peggy Lou (Goodpasture) Vendetti
Peggy Vendetti went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008.Funeral services for Peggy L. Vendetti, 71-year-old Enid resident will be 10 a.m. today, Nov. 19, 2008, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Hennessey Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home
. Peggy was born June 20, 1937, to Glen and Louise Lindley Goodpasture in Hennessey, Okla. On Oct. 2, 1955, she married Mikel Vendetti and they had just recently celebrated their 53th wedding anniversary. Peggy worked as a supervisor and later retired from NORCE after 17 years. Peggy was a member and also taught Sunday school at Olivet Baptist Church. She will have many stars in her crown for the people she had lead to the Lord and all the neighborhood children she would gather up every Sunday morning for church. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was a forever giving mother and a grandma who could out fish the best. She was loved by all that knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Steve and Cindy Vendetti, Danny and Jolynne Vendetti and Philip Vendetti, all of Enid; two daughters and their husbands, Kristy and Rick Majors and Misti and Bradley Wooten, all of Enid; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Lois Burdick of Enid; one brother, Darrell Goodpasture of Alma, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Goodpasture
