Graveside services for Teddy L. Townsend, Sr., 81 will be at 2:00 PM Monday October 9, 2023, at the Hennessey Cemetery Pavilion officiated by Rev. Shane Bennett. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
 

Teddy was born in Hennessey on July 28, 1942, to Peter and Nila Ketchel Townsend and died Sunday October 1, 2023, in Pueblo, Colorado.
 

He is survived by five sons Teddy Townsend, Jr. of Tulsa, Wallace Townsend, Daniel Townsend both of Mounds, Oklahoma, Curtis Townsend of Okmulgee, Brian Townsend and wife Samantha of Pueblo, Colorado; one daughter Kristi Anderson and husband Dan of Decatur, Illinois.
 

Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.
