Mrs. Lydia R. Sutton, wife of Mr. Charles C. Sutton, passed away at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon at  her house on Cheyenne avenue, after an extended illness. 

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon from the Methodist church, with Rev. M Carl Cartwright and Rev, Wallace Linton officiating. 

Burial was made in the Hennessey Cemetery. 

Mrs. Lydia R. Sutton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin W. Marshall, was born October 29, 1872, at Fostoria, Ohio, and passed away at her home on South Cheyenne Avenue at Hennessey, Okla.  She was married to Charles C. Sutton, December 17, 1892. To this union two children were born.  Mrs.  Ethel Marshall and Glynn K. Sutton, both of Hennessey. 

Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband and two children and one grandson, Charles Sutton.  She also leaves  one brother, Ollie W. Marshall, and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Christmann, Mrs. Della Crandall and Mrs. Myrtle Crandall and other relatives. 

Mr. and Mrs. Sutton moved to Hennessey in the spring of 1901, from Arlington Nebr., and has resided  here continuously since that time.  She will be missed by many neighbors and old friends, who will mourn  her passing with members of her family.
