Perry Rippy , 28, was killed instantly at the air school construction job Tuesday  afternoon. 

The highway was told by representatives of Meran-Buckner Construction Company, who employed Rippy, that Rippy was walking along the edge of one of the  concrete runways at the air school carrying a shovel when he stumbled and fell in front  of the trucks, the wheels passing over his head.  Rippy had lived in Enid about a year.

Services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Henninger funeral chapel.

Burial  was in Hennessey Cemetery. 

Survivors are his wife, 430 South Arthur; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Rippy of Paden, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. John Yeager of Elk City, Pauline, Ruby and Helen , all of Paden; four brothers, Like, Henry, James and Joe, all of Paden.
