Rafaela (Maldonado) Ortega
The funeral for Rafaela Ortega, 64, of Hennessey will be 2 p.m. today at Cristo Rey Baptist Church. The Rev. Ramon Aleman will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.
She was born July 10, 1942, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Victoriano and Francisca Vazques Maldonado and died Friday, April 27, 2007, at her home in Hennessey.
Surviving are six sons, George Ortega, Sergio Ortega, Abraham Ortega, Esau Ortega, Isrrael Ortega and Nahum Ortega; four daughters, Silvia Cardenas, Maria Jesus Valles, Susana Gutierrez and Patricia Guerrero, all of Hennessey; two brothers; four sisters; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham.
