ENID, OK — Funeral services for Dona Jean Milbers, age 85, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Dona was born October 10, 1927, in Hennessey, OK, to Lester and Jewell Smith LaPorte and passed away early Thursday, August 15, 2013, in Golden Oaks Village.

She grew up in Lacey, OK, where she attended and graduated from Lacy High School.

Dona married Burle E. Milbers on June 14, 1952, at her home near Hennessey and he passed away March 26, 2005.

Dona and Burle were partners with their son Rex at Carrier Oil and Propane, Inc. for over 40 years.

Survivors include her children, Rex and wife Cathy Milbers of Carrier, OK; Kirk and wife Cynthia Milbers of Arlington, TX, and Charlotte Toews and husband Jason of North Enid ,OK; grandchildren, Justin and Amy Toews of Vici, OK, Ginger and Chris Halsrud of Yukon, OK, and great-granddaughter Addison Halsrud of Yukon; a brother, Ron LaPorte of Bella Vista, AR, and a sister-in-law, Jeanine LaPorte of Shawnee, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Wayne, Dale and L. D. LaPorte.
