Enid News and Eagle (OK) - September 3, 2014 

Graveside service for Mary Ruth McVicker, 85, of Enid, Okla., will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at Hennessey Cemetery, with Brian Meyer officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson - Burris Funeral Home.

Mary Ruth was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Tulsa, Okla., to Herbert and Goldie (Berry) Caudill and passed away on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, in Enid.

Mary grew up in Sand Springs, Okla.

She met Troy McVicker and they were married Aug. 31, 1946, in Sedan, Kan. They made their home in Sand Springs.

They traveled, following his work, and in 1964, they moved from Odessa, Texas, to Enid.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Donna Simunek and husband Cletus of Oklahoma City, and Sherri Ross and husband Mike of Enid; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy.
