Enid Morning News November 6, 2005  

The funeral for Amber Dawn Matthews, 23, of Kingfisher will be 10 a.m. Monday at Dover Christian Church. The Rev. Fred Jones will officiate.

Burial will be in Dover Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

She was born Oct. 19, 1982, in Clinton to Garry and Jamie Upton Matthews and died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2005, near Watonga.

She graduated from Dover High School in 2001 and was a nursing student at Redlands Community College.

She worked at Parkview Hospital, El Reno.

Surviving are her parents, Garry Matthews and stepmother Donna of Kingfisher; her mother, Jamie Upton; two sisters, Angel Ross of Oklahoma City and Dyon Rios; one brother, Gary Luther Matthews of Sullivan, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Reba Mumford of Wayne; one stepbrother, G. R. Kirkpatrick of Dover; and one stepsister, Kathy Hurst of Yukon.
