Nellie B. (McCartney) Beebe
The funeral for Nellie Beebe, 84, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Hennessey. The Rev. Don Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in Cimarron Valley Cemetery, Lacey. Arrange-ments are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
She was born Oct. 3, 1921, in Beaver County to John Palmer and Annie Leslie Roberts McCartney and died Saturday, May 13, 2006.
She attended Lacey and Dover schools.
She married Othel L. Beebe Nov. 4, 1941, in Enid. They lived Lacey and Yukon before settling in Hennessey.
Surviving are two daughters, Patsy Davis of Bison and Lola Wiley of Hennessey; one son, Bill Beebe of Enid; four sisters, Opal Wall of Loyal, Bessie Kersey of Dover, Ollie Julius of Enid and Olive Schroeder of San Antonio; two brothers, Chancey McCartney of Longdale and Melvin McCartney of Bison; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Othel, two daughters, one son, one great-great-grandson, two sisters and six brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Horizon Hospice.
