Donald Allan Cornwell

Friday, August 4, 1989:

Funeral services for Donald Allan Cornwell, 63, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Nicoma Park Christian Church, NE 23rd and Nichols Drive, with Rev. Bill Shaw officiating. Burial will be at Cashion directed by Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
Donald was born Nov. 27, 1925 on the Cornwell farm near Cashion, to Thomas N. and Bessie Hammond Cornwell.
He graduated from Cashion High School in 1943. He served in the Army Air Corps as a fireman. He retired from the Midwest City Fire Department, where he served as Assistant Chief, in 1971. He was self employed as a carpenter for many years.
Survivors include one son, Michael, Choctaw; two daughters, Shellye Kerbo, Choctaw; and Kim Cornwell, Del City; two grandsons, Josh and Caleb Kerbo; his mother, Bessie Cornwell; his sister, June Stone, and a brother, R. Warren, all of Oklahoma City, several nieces and a host of other relqatives and friends.
