Waukomis – Recitation of the Rosary for Anna Taborsky, 79, will be read at 7:30 PM today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at the church. The reverends James Mickus and Joseph C. Kolb will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Hennessey, under direction of Cordry and Son Funeral Home, Hennessey.

She was born September 20, 1913, at Hennessey to Joseph and Anna Simunek Hladik and died Wednesday, January 20, 1993, at the Hennessy Care Center. She attended school at Spring Valley and Lyon Valley. On November 22, 1932, she married Thomas Taborsky at Bison. They lived on a farm east of Bison, moving to Waukomis in 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Bison 70 Club.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Loretta) Johnson of Enid; two sons, Alfred of Hennessey and Willard of Enid; one sister, Adella Hladik of Marshall; and two brothers, Joe and Henry Hladik, both of Hennessey.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church for rebuilding of the Shrine.
