Rosary services were at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Bison for Joeseph Skoda, 88, of Waukomis who died early Tuesday at an Enid hospital. 

Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m.  Thursday (today) at the church and burial will follow in the Hennessey  cemetery under the direction of Cordry & Son.

A native of Czechoslovakia, he came to the United States when he  was 16 years of age, living in the Waukomis area these many years.  He made the run into Old Oklahoma in 1889 and filed on a claim south of Waukomis. He was a member of the St. Joseph church in Bison.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Green, Hennessey; and  a son, Frank, Waukomis, and three grandchildren.
