Evelyn Alvira (Ludwig) Terrell

The funeral for Evelyn Alvira Ludwig Terrell, 74, of Yukon,will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dover Christian Church. Fred Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Cemetery, between Dover and Crescent.

She was born May 12, 1932, to Frank and Ester Funk Ludwig and died Friday, April 13, 2007.

She graduated from Dover High School in 1950. After graduation she worked for a time in Oklahoma City. She married Leon Terrell Nov. 17, 1951. They made their home in Oklahoma City until he was drafted into the Korean War. After the war, they made their home in Kingfisher. They moved several times in the state, ultimately residing the last 28 years in Yukon. She worked for many doctors, clinics, law and oil and gas firms. She retired in 1995. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Yukon.

Surviving are her husband Lelen Leon Terrell; two daughters, Leeanne Lyon of Yukon and Lisa Albert of Wayne; one son, Mark Terrell of Houston; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Dover Christian Church.
