Lester P. Waddell, Ponca City resident, passed away Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, at his home in Ponca City. A service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Woodlands Christian Church with the Rev. Paul Krueger, pastor of Woodlands Christian Church, officiating. A private family burial will precede the service at Resthaven Memorial Park. The arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
Lester P. Waddell was born in Latham, Ill., on Jan. 6, 1918, to John Gill and Cora Ann (Howe) Waddell. He married Mildred Pierce in 1939 in St. Charles. Mo.
