May 6, 1960 - August 18, 2021

James Glen Rhynard, age 61, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away August 18, 2021, in Amarillo, Texas. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Damian Salazar officiating. Viewing and visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, August 23, 2021, at Trout Funeral Home. Face masks are required. James will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.

James was born on May 6, 1960, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Richard and Glenda (Goad) Rhynard. James worked as an equipment operator for Sentinel Transportation in Conoco Phillips. James was a hardworking, kind, selfless man. In 2008, James met the love of his life Rogie. In the years since then, they raised a family, built a home together, went on numerous trips and became grandparents. James became a grandfather instantly after marrying Rogie played a huge role in raising his granddaughter Leila as his own. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and always had something to keep him busy. James also loved to build and fly RC model planes at GOOFS. He loved to cook with his wife and often held large dinners at the home for family to come and gather. James most pride possession in life wasn’t anything materialistic what he valued the most was his family. He was an amazing husband who helped his wife and children navigate through life and made it as simple as possible. His biggest role was being a Papa. He cherished his grandchildren and adored every one of them. His place in this world will be greatly missed as he will leave behind so many that loved him dearly.

Survivors include his mother, Glenda Rhynard; wife, Rogerlynn Rhynard; children, Miranda Rhynard, Sasha Martin and her fiancé, Hunter, Natasha Sepulveda, Cha Sepulveda, Shealyn Shafer and husband, Jerry, Kristy Rivera and husband, Bryson; grandchildren, Jayden, Kaleb, Mya, Leila, Varon, Khalaysi, King, Legacy, Kai, Chanten, and two unborn granddaughters. brother, Richard Rhynard and wife, Teresa; sisters, Paula Sneed and Kathy Lectenberg and husband, Vince; and numerous nieces and nephews, family members, and friends.

Preceding in death was his father, Richard Rhynard and grandson Liam Rivera.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Damian and John Salazar, Justin Lechtenburg, and Cha Sepulveda.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rhynard Grandchildren at 411 Bell Rd. Ponca City, Oklahoma 74604
