Janett Reyna, 29, of Blackwell, OK, passed away on August 8, 2013 in Blackwell. Janett was born on October 27, 1983 in Brownsville, TX to Javier and Patricia (Rojas) Reyna, Sr.

She grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from Elsik High School. She later moved to Ponca City, OK with her mother. She attended Northern Oklahoma College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2008 she completed CLEET training and became a police offer for the Blackwell Police Department. In 2012, she became the Director of the Domestic Violence Program for the Ponca Tribe. Janett was residing in Blackwell, OK with her three beautiful children. She was very proud of her job as Director of the Domestic Violence program and met numerous amounts of people. She was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.

Janett is survived by her three children; Aaliyah Yvette Frias, Khloe Ava Frias and Luis Angel Frias, her mother- Patricia McIntyre and step-father, Scott McIntyre and his children, Kirstyn and Kaitlyn McIntyre, her father- Javier Reyna, Sr. and step-mother, Maria Reyna, her paternal grandparents; Eduardo Reyna and Carmen Bedolla Reyna, her maternal grandmother- Olivia Rojas, her brother- Javier Reyna, Jr. and his wife Cecilia Reyna and their two children; Javier Reyna, III and Joseph Reyna, her brother- Salvador Casique, Jr. and his wife, Lindsey Casique and their two children; Gabriel and Graciana Casique, her brother- Javier Jesus Reyna and sisters; Paola Reyna, Monica Reyna and Ruby Reyna.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jose Angel Rojas.

The funeral services will be held at The Ponca Tribal Cultural Center on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Jimmy White Officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Ponca City.

Casket bearers are Antonio Ortega, Greg Stout, Salvador Casique, Jr., Javier Reyna, Sr., Alfred Arkeketa, Jr., Scott McIntyre, Ben Arkeketa and Amos Hintin. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Javier Reyna, Jr., Cody Pappan and Gary Talachy.
