Funeral services for Gary O'Mealey, 18, will be held Monday at 10:30 AM in the Asbury Methodist Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. Justus Edmondson, pastor, will officiate.

Casketbearers will be Roy Dunn, Leon Bozarth, Bob Leonard, Mike Kinslow and James Hassell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gary McClaskey, Tom Radcliff, Jim Radcliff, Joe Gallagher, Gary Allen, Robert McClung, Mike Paine, Terry Pameticky, Mike Stratton, Wesley Green, Alan Bodine, Jarrett Cowden, Glenn Avery, Jerry Wintermute, Dan Hiskett, Clifford Chesser, Harold Forcum, Bert Nichols, Kenton Forshee, Albert Quickel Jr., Michael Webb, Larry Litton, Stanley Polwort, Jack Parton and Eddie Snyder.

Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of the E. M. Trout and Sons Funeral Home.

The family has suggested that those wishing to honor Gary's memory may do so by contributing to the Gary O'Mealey Memorial Fund which has been established at the Asbury Methodist Church. Contributions may be sent to the church office.

Gary, a 1962 graduate of the Ponca City high school, died about noon Friday at the Ponca City hospital after an illness of several months. In high school he was a member of the Science Club, Slide Rule Club, Math Club and Grenadiers.

Last year he was employed at the Red Bud Food Store and was runner-up in the city – wide contest for the most popular salesman.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold O'Mealey, two sisters, Pamela Sue and Cindy Ann, and a brother, Jimmy Dee, all of the home, 337 S. Sunset; four uncles, Ed O'Mealey, Los Angeles, Ralph O'Mealey, 137 Viola, George O'Mealey, 1400 N. Seventh, and W. E. Webster, Deer Creek; four aunts, Mrs. John Michaels, New Iberia, Louisiana, Mrs. Paul Rendel, Kaw City, Mrs. F. L. Maxwell, Kilgore, Texas, and Mrs. Henry Currier, Lamont; a cousin, Raymond O'Mealey, 1937 Mary, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Webster, Lamont.
