Funeral services for Brenda Linn Martin, 57, Ponca City resident, will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Central Baptist Church with Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Brenda was born on June 16, 1960 in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Homer. and Patricia Owsley Duke, and passed away peacefully on November 18, 2017 at her residence. She was raised and educated in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High with the class of 1978. Brenda attended Pioneer Vo Tech studying bookkeeping and accounting. Brenda married Larry Martin in Ponca City in 1984. She worked as a housekeeper and a homemaker. She loved OU Football, fishing, and would give you the shirt off her back.

Survivors include her husband, Larry of the residence; daughter, Kari (Tommy) Morgan of Ponca City; son, Jacob (Stephanie) Martin of Ponca City; Mother, Patricia Duke of Oilton, Oklahoma; father, Homer (Willetta) Duke. of Newkirk, Oklahoma; brothers, Ben (Cari Loving) Duke of Oklahoma City, Barry(Lisa Webb) Duke of Ponca City; sister, Gail Boswell of Ponca City; five grandchildren, Kaidon Mauk, Jordan Morgan, Tommy Morgan, Dylan and Gaige Martin; and one great grandchild Mason Mauk.

Brenda was preceded in passing by her grandparents and sister Cherie Ann Duke.
