Sandra Gayle (Kulczycki) LeMonnier, born February 7th, 1942, in Ada, OK, passed away on September 24th, 2016 at her home in Ponca City. She is the daughter of Guy and Imajeane LeMonnier of Ponca City, both deceased.

Sandra enjoyed birding, making Nantucket baskets, being active in the Kaw Lake Association and the Kaw City Chamber, and being a docent at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. Most of her remaining time was spent caring for her ranch on Kaw Lake. Sandra thoroughly enjoyed planning for and attending her PoHi and OSU reunions, and spending time with all her friends there. She was a member of Kappa Delta sorority at Oklahoma State University, from which she graduated in 1964. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Egypt, Peru, the western US and its national parks. Sandra was proud of her professional life. Her career included being a vocational education teacher, advertising agency VP, owner/manager of KidsCare Learning Center, and manager of LeMonnier Investments and its commercial rental properties. Sandra’s grandparents Clive and Letha Roberson, of Ada, OK and Fay “Pop” and Ava LeMonnier of Ponca City, meant the world to her and she relished their memories and their treasured antiques.

Sandra is survived by her long-time companion Randy Post, brother Guy LeMonnier Jr. (Cheryl), daughter Denise Kulczycki Adams (Chris), and her prized grandchildren Josh, Zoe and Sierra Rose. Sandra’s beloved son and best friend Scotty Kulczycki (Kim) preceded her in death on February 21st, 2016.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Mike Bundy, Kandie Grimes, Kerri Nichols, Rick and Teresa LeMonnier, and Maria Parson for being such loving and generous people over the last year.

Services will be held graveside at Resthaven Cemetery on Saturday, October 1st at 11am. Everyone is welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Kaw Lake Educational Fund (PO Box 1933, Ponca City, OK 74602) or the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve (donate at https://support.nature.org) or P.O. Box 458, Pawhuska, OK 74056.
