Christine E. Holmes, 80, of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Wellington, KS. 
Christine was born on February 17, 1933 in Tahlequah, OK. She and William “Bill” Holmes were married on April 26, 1950 in Tahlequah. Bill passed away on February 21, 2009. They moved to Ponca City in 1953, she was of the Baptist Faith, liked flowers, was a seamstress and in Bill’s final years, Christine was his caregiver. 
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, several brothers and sisters. She was the last of the White family. 
Christine is survived by her children; Wilma and Don McAlexander of Albuquerque, NM, David Holmes of Ponca City. Grandchildren; Shannon McAlexander, Justin and Tonya McAlexander, Stacy and Brian Dry, Keri and Montana Pourner. Great Grandchildren; Kaleb McAlexander, Lainey McAlexander, Kirsten Bruns, Americus Pourner, Logan Pourner, Lakin Dry, Ray Dry, Emily Dry, Sophia Dry, Chandra Pourner, London Christine Pourner and Britain Pourner. 
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Grace Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Terry of the Assembly of God Church in Wellington, KS. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery of Ponca City, OK. Casket bearers will be Don McAlexander, Justin McAlexander, Brian Dry and Montana Pourner.
