Joyce Ann Davis 67, formerly of Ponca City passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Norman, OK. Joyce was born June 11, 1949 in Ponca City, OK to Clarence Harry and Ruth Alma Welch Stafford.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Dr. Edward Porter of Frisco, Texas officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Pallbearers will be Raymond Morris, Trigg Snyder, Shane Morris and Justin Duke Morris.

Joyce grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Po High in 1967. She attended college at O.U. in Norman, O.S.U. in Stillwater, OK and she graduated in 1971 from NW State University of Alva with a teaching Degree. Upon graduating she began her teaching career in the Altus, OK area teaching Home Economist in Roosevelt, OK and also Warren, OK. Joyce was very active in the Eastern Stars and she was a past matron. She also enjoyed sewing and Home Economist.

Survivors include: 1 brother; Fred Stafford of Duncan, OK and a Cousin: Becky Morris of Freedom, OK.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother; Larry Stafford.
