Frank David Burdick, 74, of Pawhuska, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at St. John Medical of Tulsa.

Frank was born on July 23, 1939 in Iola, KS to Lewis Samuel and Alpha Audrey (Eckler) Burdick.

Frank was a Veteran of the US Army; he was a welder, awesome father that loved his family. He and Christine Baker were married in 1971 in Miami, OK. He was an accomplished musician teaching his kids to play the guitar. He liked to fish, take wildlife pictures and could tell you any constellation in the sky.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister-Evelyn, 2 brothers; Roy & Nolan.

Frank is survived by his wife-Christine, 3 children and their spouses; Shane & Amy Burdick of Ponca City, Bryon and Melissa Burdick of Grand Forks, N.D. and Jason & Dana Burdick of Bartlesville. 1 Sister- Iva Pitts of Ponca City, 4 Brothers; Sam Burdick of Cushing, Dale Burdick of Ponca City, Mike Burdick and Lester Burdick both of Pawhuska. 10 grandchildren; Deitric, Austin, Noah, Tate, Tristan, Levi, Skylar, Nicholas, Travis and Jessi. 4 great grandchildren; Mason, Cartney, Kori and Gabriella.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Foursquare Church, 700 W. Broadway, Ponca City with Pastor Randy Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery of Ponca City, OK. Casket Bearers will be; Austin Burdick, Levi Burdick, Travis Garrett, Pete Burdick, Jeff Burdick and Jerrod Burdick.

Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City.
