Mary Oleta Willis Allen, former Ponca City resident, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at the Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK. She was 84.

The funeral service will be held at the Trout funeral home chapel at 10 AM, February 2, 2005, with the Rev. Paul Krueger, Woodlands Christian Church, officiating. A private internment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are made under the direction of Trout Funeral Home.

Oleta was born on October 21, 1920, to Johnie Leo and Mary N. (Gill) Hendley in Prattville, TX. On Jan. 6, 1942, she married Vernon Willis of Ponca City. He was killed in an automobile accident in Sept.1961. In June 1968 she married Richard Allen of Tulsa who died in 1982.

Oleta is survived by a granddaughter Missy Willis of Richmond, KY, two grandsons: Allan Willis of Topeka, KS, and Kenny Ray Willis of Nashville, TN, children of Harold Ray Willis; one daughter-in-law Vernice Willis of Tulsa; two sisters Emaline Hallman of Winnsboro, TX, Mrs. Frost (Fay) Nix of Ponca City; three brothers: Charles Hendley of Edmond; Ray Hendley of Ponca City; and Harold Hendley of Winnsboro, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons: Charles Vernon, Harold Ray, and Glendel Paul Willis, two brothers: Curtis Hendley, J.P. Hendley; two sisters: Alma Craig and June McCloud.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Clarehouse, 7324 E. 49th place #3, Tulsa, OK 74145.
