Ruth J. Thiele, 81, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on July 14, 2022, at her home. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 19, 2022, and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Reverend Mark Mozeik officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.

Ruth was born on December 12, 1940, in Ponca City, OK, to Wilbert and Blanche (Green) Grimes. She attended Burbank schools and married Ramon Thiele on September 20, 1959. She was a sheet metal worker for Titus before retiring in 2005.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Ramon, of the home; son, Glenn Thiele and his wife, Tina, of Stillwater, OK; daughter, Kim VanDeburgh and her husband, Darwin, of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Chrystopher Thiele of Ponca City, OK, Wade VanDeburgh of Oklahoma City, OK, Leigh Miller and her husband, Zachery, of Sand Springs, OK; great-grandchildren, Piper Thiele, Wyatt Thiele and Anthony Miller. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ginger Thiele; her parents and brothers, Fred Grimes, J.D. Grimes and General Grimes.

Pallbearers will be Wade VanDeburg, Zachery Miller, LeRoy Thiele, Chrystopher Thiele and Darwin Thiele.
